Personal Capital

#1
Hey has anyone tried using Personal Capital? I started using it as a quick net worth tracker, but I really liked their retirement planning tool. It is pretty robust for a free tool, allowing you to generate several scenarios quickly. The cash tracking tool is pretty pointless, but the net worth tracker and investing sections work well. They offer retirement financial services, but you can politely decline as I have. I came across it on the Financial Samurai blog. Anybody else use it?

Yeah, I use Personal Capital every day. I wouldn't bother with any of their advisor / investing stuff, but it has a really simple / consistent UI for tracking cash flow and net worth, and for those reasons I recommend it. I track my savings (e.g. transfers into investment accounts) in its own spreadsheet, but net worth is done in Personal Capital b/c it can track the market changes a lot more efficiently.
